Domain Name Registration Pricing & Policies
We'll register, transfer, and/or renew domain names for you for the cost of $25.00 per year, per domain for .com, .net, .org, .info, .biz, and .us top level domains. This price currently applies to new registrations, one-year renewals, and incoming transfers from other registrars.
You will receive automated email messages at various intervals reminding you that your domain registration is expiring and asking you to contact us to renew your domain 90, 60, 30, and 5 days prior to the expiration date of your domain when it is registered through us. A courtesy notice will also be sent 3 days after expiration to let you know your domain has expired. 40 days after expiration, your domain will enter the Redemption Period during which you can no longer renew the name for the standard one-year renewal prices listed above. To recover a domain during the redemption period, there will be a fee that varies by TLD but not to exceed $300.00 per domain. Once the redemption period is over, there is no way to recover an expired domain and it will be placed back on the market for other parties to register. Many times expired domains are taken within seconds of becoming available again by people who intend to use your reputation and history to drive traffic to their site(s) for advertising revenue purposes, so we highly recommend that you do not let your domain expire to this level unless you are sure you no longer want it and do not mind losing it forever.
We do NOT automatically renew domain names when they expire. You must contact us to arrange for payment and renewal of your domain when you receive the email notices from us informing you of the upcoming expiration date. It is your responsibility to make sure your email address associated with your domain name is current and accurate and that you are not blocking these messages with a spam filter. These emails are your only notice of expiration and we DO NOT send out any other invoice or paper/postal notices.
Once a year, approximately 120 days prior to your anniversary date (even if the domain is not expiring that year) you will receive a notice listing the current contact information associated with your domain registration. Please review this information and make sure it is accurate. If you need help updating or changing this information, please contact us. Renewal notices and other important notices (such as UDRP Disputes and Trademark infringement notices) will be sent either to the email address or postal address associated with your registration. If your contact information is not current and accurate, you may not receive these notices and your registration may be in jeopardy.
Other top level domains (TLD's) not listed above may also be available upon request. If you are interested, pricing will be provided for those domains at that time.
Multiple year registrations are available up to a total of 10 years. Just multiply the number of years by the per-year rate listed above and let us know how many years you want each domain renewed for when you arrange for payment.
Your domain registration is subject to the Domain Registration Agreement as well as the UDRP policies linked to within that document and any other current ICANN rules that may be implemented from time to time.
All registrations and renewals performed by EagleQuest are done using the Tucows/OpenSRS Wholesale Platform. We are an authorized reseller for Tucows/OpenSRS and they act as the registrar for all of our domain transactions. EagleQuest itself is not a registrar, rather, we are a reseller for Tucows who is an ICANN Accredited Registrar. If you have any concerns about registering your domain with us as we are a small company, rest assured that your registration is actually handled by Tucows and if all else fails you can contact them directly to resolve any disputes or issues that you feel we may not have handled to your satisfaction.
